The Art of the Room Flip

First things first, what is a room flip? A room flip occurs when your wedding ceremony and reception will take place in the same room and must be “flipped” from one set up to the next while your guests enjoy cocktail hour. We allot one hour to flip a room, but in reality it only takes about 30-45 minutes to complete. This efficient transition allows our couples to utilize this time for their portraits, capturing beautiful moments while we work behind the scenes.

We take pride in offering a variety of venues that accommodate room flips based on your preferences. Some venues, like The Cliff House, require a room flip as part of their layout, while others, such as the Trinity River Audubon Center and 400 North Ervay, provide it as an optional feature. As the majority of our couples choose to host both their ceremony and reception with us, we have honed our expertise in executing flawless room flips.

With our extensive experience in the art of the room flip, you can trust our capable team to seamlessly transition your event space, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience on your special day.
